Payment Options

Thrilling Toyz serves collectors and hobbyists worldwide with premium European model trains and accessories from leading brands including Marklin, Roco, PIKO, ESU, BEMO, Trix and LGB.

Once an order is placed, Thrilling Toyz reviews the order and confirms which products and quantities are in stock and ready to ship, and which items need to be specially ordered or are currently on backorder. For items that are in stock and ready to ship, we calculate the shipping charges and issue the invoice for payment.

Order Review & Invoice Process

Once an order is placed, customers receive an Order Confirmation showing the items ordered, the quantities Thrilling Toyz will be able to supply, and the price per item. The Order Confirmation is not a commercial invoice or a payment request.

Thrilling Toyz then reviews the order to confirm which items and / or quantities are in stock and ready to ship, and which items need to be specially ordered or are currently on backorder.

For items that are in stock and ready to ship, we calculate the shipping charges based on weight, dimensions and destination. We also combine items where possible to keep shipping costs fair and accurate.

An invoice is issued once the shipping charges have been accurately calculated based on the items in stock and the quantities ready to ship.

Before invoice is generated and payment is requested, Thrilling Toyz will:

• Confirm product availability
• Verify packaging requirements
• Calculate actual shipping charges based on weight, dimensions and destination
• Optimise combined shipping where possible
• Include any applicable taxes, duties or additional charges where relevant

This thorough process helps ensure fair and accurate shipping charges, particularly for larger train sets, delicate models, accessories and multi-item international orders.

Accepted Payment Methods

Bank Transfer

We accept payment via bank transfer to our Singapore bank account. Bank details will be provided on the invoice.

Bank transfer may be required for:

• High-value orders
• Limited edition products
• Special orders
• Certain international transactions

When making payment via bank transfer, customers should include the invoice reference number to help us process the payment efficiently.

Please note that bank transfers may require additional processing time depending on the sending bank and country of origin.

Credit Card & PayPal

Customers may also pay securely using major credit cards through PayPal’s payment platform. You need to log into your accunt and go to the orders page and click on the PayPal button to pay using the PayPal payment gateway. 

PayPal provides:

• Secure international payment processing
• Credit card payment convenience
• Buyer protection support in eligible regions

Customers are not required to share credit card information directly with Thrilling Toyz when paying through PayPal.

Currency & Exchange Rates

Unless otherwise stated, all invoices are issued in Singapore Dollars (SGD).

For international transactions, exchange rates and any foreign transaction fees are determined by the customer’s payment provider, bank or credit card issuer.

Pre-Orders & Special Orders

Certain products offered by Thrilling Toyz may be:

• Pre-order items
• Limited production releases
• Manufacturer allocation-based models
• Special order items sourced upon request

For these orders, partial or full payment may be required before the item is secured from the manufacturer or distributor.

Customers will be informed of the payment requirements before confirmation.

Please note that delivery timelines for pre-orders and special orders may be affected by manufacturer production schedules, allocation availability or international shipping conditions.

Payment Security

Thrilling Toyz is committed to secure and responsible transaction handling.

We do not store customer's credit card information on our systems because payment using credit cards is processed on the PayPal payment gateway. Online payments are securely processed through trusted third-party payment platforms.

Payment Confirmation & Order Dispatch

Orders are processed for shipment only after payment has been successfully received and cleared.

Once payment is confirmed:

• Orders are prepared for dispatch
• Customers receive shipment confirmation
• Tracking details are provided where available
